Winwood Fashion is a multi-brand Showroom founded in 1999 that represents a range of both international and domestic designers. The aim of the Showroom is to present not only new emerging brands of the luxury market, but also to show these together with some well-established big names in the Fashion world. Behind these choices is an endless research by the founder whose passion for travel and love of fashion has led her to meet and develop relationships with designers from all over the world. Winwood Fashion is a sophisticated living room: The Showroom, at the number 2 of Via Serbelloni, it’s a meeting point for faithful clients who meet-up to have a chat with friends. But not only: professioanlism and know-how are available at all times from the International Staff that leads the client through the displays and guides their choices of the best items. After working with brands such as Tomas Maier, Jimmy Choo, Clements Ribeiro, Tuleh, Jason Wu, Nancy Gonzalez – some which Morena Zabeni is still working with as an external consultant – today, Winwood Fashion represents around 20 collections from ready-to-wear to accessories, shoes, jewelery, scarves and candles. Just to mention a few: Ines&Marechal, Aquazzura, Sensi Studio, Raquel Diniz…
Winwood Fashion è uno Showroom multimarca presente dal 1999, che rappresenta designers sia internazionali che nazionali. L’idea alla base dello Showroom è quella di presentare nuovi brand emergenti del settore luxury, mescolati però ad alcuni grandi nomi. Dietro queste scelte c’è una ricerca costante della fondatrice che grazie alla sua passione per i viaggi ha la possibilità di incontrare e di creare delle relazioni con marchi in tutto il mondo. Winwood Fashion è stato pensato come a un salotto dal design raffinato: lo Showroom, al civico 2 di Via Serbelloni, è infatti per i clienti più fedeli un punto di ritrovo tra amici dove scambiare idee e consigli. Non manca però la competenza e professionalità dello staff internazionale che guida il cliente attraverso il display delle collezioni e nella scelta dei migliori capi. Dopo aver lavorato con brand del calibro di Tomas Maier, Jimmy Choo, Clements Ribeiro, Tuleh, Jason Wu, Nancy Gonzalez – con alcuni dei quali Morena Zabeni continua a collaborare come consulente esterno – ad oggi Winwood Fashion rappresenta all’incirca 20 collezioni dal ready-to-wear agli accessori, scarpe, gioielli, sciarpe e candele. Morena Zabeni
Founder
Morena Zabeni started her career working at a bank which she soon realised was not for her and jumped at the opportunity to work for the Byblos Group when she was 24 years old. This set the basis of her fashion career where she learnt merchandising, sales and was exposed to the world-wide retail market. She very quickly moved into overseeing their show-rooms, merchandising and coordinating sales in Milan, Paris, London, Hong Kong, NYC and Tokyo. Calvin Klein came knocking soon after and Morena spent two years expanding their sales. Jil Sander followed, where Morena was involved in merchandising and brand promotion. Soon after, having moved back to Italy, Morena joined Marni and assisted Consuelo Castiglioni in growing the brand into a multi-milion $ business whilst also assisting Kiton to create and grow their womenswear business. Morena leveraged her extensive experience in the fashion world after working with these renowned brands which also included Tomas Maier, Jimmy Choo, Clements Ribeiro, Tuleh, Jason Wu, Car Shoe, Nancy Gonzalez, Brian Atwood… to create Winwood Fashion in 1999. Today, Morena combines her passion for fashion with yoga and art and divides her time between Italy, Ibiza and Mexico where she has created several homes with renowned interior designers to welcome friends and family.
Morena nasce a Zurigo, con una grande passione per la moda, in una famiglia che di moda non ne vuole sapere. Una breve carriera in finanza, trasferitasi a Milano, lavora dieci anni per il Gruppo Girombelli/Byblos. Si ritrova molto presto in giro per il mondo, per supervisionare i loro show-rooms, per coordinare il merchandising e le vendite a Milano, Parigi, Londra, Hong Kong, New York e Tokyo. Decide poi di fermarsi a New York, dove Calvin Klein bussa alla sua porta e dove Morena lavorerà per due anni espandendo il business. Seguirà Jil Sander, dove Morena si è occupata di merchandising e promozione del marchio. Poco dopo, tornata in Italia, Morena si è unita a Marni e ha assistito Consuelo Castiglioni nella crescita del marchio in un business multimilionario, aiutando contemporaneamente anche Kiton a creare e far crescere la propria attività di abbigliamento femminile. Morena ha sfruttato la sua vasta esperienza nel mondo della moda dopo aver lavorato con questi rinomati marchi che includevano anche Tomas Maier, Jimmy Choo, Clements Ribeiro, Tuleh, Jason Wu, Car Shoe, Nancy Gonzalez, Brian Atwood… per creare Winwood Fashion nel 1999. Oggi Morena unisce la sua passione per la moda allo yoga e all'arte e divide il suo tempo tra Italia, Ibiza e Messico dove ha creato diverse case con rinomati interior designers per accogliere amici e parenti.
